The sound has exceeded my expectations. I give it 5 stars. He has full, rich sound and round. It is not as loud as my Koaloha concert, but the sound is probably a little better, but it’s a bit difficult to compare because the volume difference. I play when I want a sweet sound, especially at night. Or only if I want to hear her beautiful sweet tone bell. I seem to play more often than my Kamaka tenor, and my Koaloha now. It came with Aquila strings Nylgut, which I prefer on my Uke. It’s also built very solid. The body tapers towards the neck, and I love the feeling. The strings at the nut, were a bit high, so I filed through the grooves easily. The mother and TUSQ saddles are important.

The image below my expectations. I give it four stars. It does not seem quite so beautiful as that on the website of Oscar Schmidt, or what I saw on some youtube video lessons. It has gold Grover tuners not golden tone that rotate very smoothly, but the keys themselves are like the Oscar Schmidt go, they are a type of plastic matte black rubberized hard. The scroll-work was inlaid with abalone, has on the neck in a lot of brown, not that it seems. It gives the whole a kind of ukulele and old look. Also the grip is not solid black ebony, it is streaked with brown and black. The bridge, however, is black ebony. There are two small spots of glue where the bridge connects the sound board, but I could polish them and they are hardly noticeable. It was a kind of white, chalky, where the handle meets the soundboard, but I was able to remove the landscape with a toothpick and it seems clean now. The logo on the headstock not encrusted. It is on the surface of wood and is painted. So there really is not enough contrast with the doll, it is very hard to read or even recognize a few meters. (I suggest rather mixed OS logo, it is possible that their brand can do more.) My uke came with a gray scratch about half an inch long, white binding on the right side. Elsewhere, however, front, back and sides, Koa wood is very pretty and the workmanship is impeccable. The abalone inlay bindings on the body is also very nice. The interior is very clean, seamless disorder.

If the ukulele is the best I’ve seen, with a nice big padded carrying handle and the Oscar Schmidt logo this.

value for the price, I give it 5 stars.

It really is the ukulele sound makes this excellent. have been if it had gold buttons sound system and a solid black ebony, would like the photo on the website of OS, I am an overall grade of five stars.
